Dr. Zhang research program has received external funding support totaling $6.24 million from diverse sources including the National Science Foundation (11 competitively awarded NSF grants in total), U.S. Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Administration, MD State Highway Adminstration and other sponsoring agencies.
